Welcome!

These web pages present some of the activities in which I am involved. The topics are focused on numerical modeling and simulation of microstructure mechanics in crystalline materials and how this translates to macroscale material behavior. Main research topics include manifestations of plasticity at different length scales, properties and influence of crystal defects – such as grain boundaries – recrystallization, grain growth and phase transformations. Modeling of the physical mechanisms as well as implementation of efficient numerical simulation algorithms are targeted and combined with experimental materials characterization.
